At the British Nationals at Malvern, Toman was; 1st Junior Open Ridden Best Ridden Stallion British National Ridden Champion and Supreme Overall British National Ridden Champion 04/08/2008 Updated pictures of Verbochka and Tomans 2008 colt foal - photos taken at four months old. (Photos kindly taken by Anfi.) 15/06/2008 Toman's first show of the year - Three Counties at Malvern where he was awarded first in Ridden Pure Bred and went on to collect Overall Ridden Champion in the Arab section. 27/06/2008 Another Toman filly for Al Waha Arabian Stud - The filly's dam, Mamshuka, is by the top American/France/UAE racing stallion NBR Seykret Cache (Kezoram x LAS Seykret by LAS Ferseyk) with a record of 4/27 (14 x 1st, 6 x 2nd, 2 x 3rd, 3 x 4th); Mamshuka's dam, Mirath was by the famous Vatikan, bred in Russia, he has a race record of 4/31(9-6-9), and won the Classic races: The Budenny, Comparison, Closing Prize, Entrance Prize, Prize of State Agroindustrial. He also won the Prize of Europe in Poland. Returned to Tersk for breeding 1994, covered 25 mares. Vatikan's sire, Kumir, race record 2/17(3-4-3), sire of 13 Classic Winners and 9 Classic Placed horses. Vatikan's dam, Nevesta (owned by HH Sheikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Thani), race record 1/10(1-2-2), dam of 1 Classic winner, Vatikan and one Classic Placed horse, Naum. Mirath's dam: Mimoza, won the Russian Classic race, the M.I. Kalinin. Top Five at the British National Show. Her sire, Mustang, is chief stallion at Kheronovoe Stud in Russia and is sire of 2 Classic Winners. Her dam Mushmula is dam of 2 Classic Winners. So combine this with Tomans pedigree - we hope Al Waha have a superstar in the future. 13/07/2008 Toman's second show - North Staffs Regional Group Show - where he achieved a FIRST in the Open Ridden Stallion Class A and gained his HOYS qualification. He then went on to become Open Ridden Champion and Supreme Ridden Champion of the Show. Ridden by Mrs Ann Hooley. 09/09/2007 OUR NEW HORSEBOX HAS ARRIVED!!! Its been a year in the planning and building but the chap who built it is so dedicated and does such a wonderful job. The horse area is superb carries up to six all forwards/backwards, lovely high partitions and every comfort for the horse. A unique paint job, depicting some of our treasured Russian horses. Living small but great we have the luxury of a shower!!!! I Got my provisional HGV and hope to sit test soon look out for us at the shows next year!
